WHAT STYLES ARE EMBEDDED IN YOUR PROGRAM?

We love seeing how different teachers get the best for their students by the conventions they select. Let us know how you're covering the curriculum elements!

HERE'S SOME EXAMPLES!

Children's Theatre, Melodrama, Verbatim Theatre, Masks, Comedy, Stage Craft, Play Building, Cinematic Theatre, Realism and its contemporary variations, Commedia, Improvisation, Collage Drama, Theatre Directing, Sound and Lighting for Stage, Audition Preparation, Acting for Camera, Cinematic Theatre, Devising Theatre, Magical Realism, Australian Gothic, Expressionism, Industry Preparation, Minimalist Theatre

PICK A WORKSHOP TYPE!

Rather than boilerplate workshops that students find repetitive, we've innovated our delivery so that our most loved workshop styles can be used to deliver a wide range of curriculum topics, genres and styles!

GREEN SCREEN

This diverse, engaging workshop style gets students in front of the screen, witnessing the magic of chroma! While this style lends itself to Comedy Skit Building, it is equally effective for Melodrama. Australian Gothic, Cinematic Theatre and Magical Realism. When we use Green Screen, you really are limited only by your imagination. Also a great way to give students a take home example of their work if you choose.

PLAY BUILDING

Do you want a small show of original work as an outcome. Maybe something parents can come watch. Very flexible, It can be a one off workshop or building one over several weeks. It can be creating an original scripted work or a Fractured Fairy tale. Great for Collage Drama, Children's theatre, Directing, Political Theatre, Stage Craft & Melodrama . In fact any genre, as we put the story at the centre and create an original performance.

ACTOR EXPLORES THE SPACE

This is an old favourite of ours that has never lost its steam. Encouraging students to connect with their bodies, they quickly drop inhibitions within our safety-net environment, and connect directly with your chosen curriculum topics. Schools have used this for Devising Theatre, Physical Theatre, Expressionism and Minimalist Theatre.

PLAY IN A DAY

Schools have gone crazy for this one-day high energy feat of creativity. Adding in friendly competition, your class work with our directors and a provided stimulus package to create an original 10-15 min play in just one day. You can influence what is in the stimulus package so it reinforces the styles from your program. Celebrate by presenting the plays at the end of the day.

TECHNIQUE INTENSIVES

These intensives are crash courses with our expert coaches. In topics that will give an instant boost in a specific area. Topics like Vocal Empowerment, Scene Study, Acting for Camera, Script Analysis, Audition Preparation, Musical Theatre just to name a few. These workshops are built to directly support your teachings, and allow students to step up and show our experts what they know, and where they may need help.

TAILOR MAKE YOUR OWN

We could go on for pages about the workshops we have created for schools. We are masters of innovation, so if you have an idea but can't you can't see it here, you won't daunt us you will excite us. Simply give us a call and we'll come out and meet you and listen to your goals so that we can present something tailor made! We'll even bring the coffee!

FIT US IN!

All that remains is the workshop length and frequency.  Let us know how we can best fit in with your group and we'll make sure we can cover your needs in that time.

DOUBLE LESSON

Here we are available for up to two-hours to work with your students as a one off basis.

FULL DAY

Certain workshops will work best if we have students for a full day for their peak activity. This allows for intensive training and skill development.

SERIES

Possibly our favourite style of delivery, because we get to form a true partnership with your teachers, and work together on an outcome. Generally a five visit series that has a set outcome, for students to share with family and friends.

OTHER?

Let us know how much time you've got for us, and we'll let you know how we can fit in around your schedule. We'll always be honest if we feel that we don't have enough time to reach your outcome, but we love making the impossible happen!

LOOKING FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT?

We love that our incursions offer professional development opportunities for teachers. We welcome as many staff to attend our workshops. Though if you are looking for formal professional development, please let us know. We can include this as one of your goals for the incursion so that you are getting the absolute mos out of all of our visits.
