How to Enrol for Term 4 2023 (CLICK THE ARROW FOR MORE)
1. Click the enrol button above
2. At the enrolment screen, you can choose to either pay in full, or pay half now and your second half will be processed on 1st November.
NOTE: If you are enrolling more than one child, please email us with your preferred class and children's names and we will contact you to finalise your enrolment.

To book your $1 Trial:
1. Click ENROL, then select the "New Students $1 Trial" option under Bundles
2. At the checkout select your preferred payment option under Payment Plans from the drop down list. Either pay in full, $1 now then in full on 1st November, or $1 now then two instalments from 1st November. You only pay $1 now.
NOTE: Our term fees after the $1 trial aren't charged until 1st November, so you can choose to cancel your payment schedule at any time should you choose not to continue.

THE SAFETY NET
The core of all of our classes is our Safety Net Philosophy. Your child will be joining their classmates in an agreement to totally support each other, to create safe places to take creative risks.
We hear from some families that this is the first time that they have experienced anything this supportive. Having a chance to learn and practice in this philosophy is why people keep coming back

WHO WE ARE
Our coaching style focuses on helping your child discover that they have true value as a creative in the world. That their creativity, while quirky at times, is a gift. Through using their mind, voice and body, they will re-discover play, enhance creative thinking, and develop self expression through performance. There is nothing better than seeing a young person, after just a couple of lessons, hold their head up high, demonstrating new skills and a new found confidence. If you are looking for somewhere for your child to feel like they fit, and are worth it, then these classes are for you. It is a fun filled, exciting, and building skills for life.

At the Australian Acting Academy, we believe that while repetition in training is important to develop skills, we still like to take a fresh approach to our training each term. So our artistic leadership team work closely with our coaches and community to ensure that what we are writing into our curriculum is current, engaging and relevant to our students. ACTING ACADEMY PATHWAYS
When you join the Australian Acting Academy, you join both a supportive, powerful community of likeminded people, but also a world class actor-training organisation with multiple pathways designed to best position our students for success. Whether that success is building confidence, making strong friendships, building industry contacts or becoming the best actor you can be, we have your pathway to success!
Regular Classes
Our regular classes are available to students of every skill level and are ready to welcome you at any time. Our world class curriculum is designed term-by-term to introduce new skills, while developing the basics to best support your desire to extend upon these. Regular classes are a fun yet focused environment, and our Safety Net means that all students are treated with respect and given the best chance to learn at their own pace.
Extension Classes
Once you've trained in our regular classes for at least one term, you may be nominated to join our extension stream. Which is a tiered program designed for focused students who wish to push themselves. Intakes for our extension stream take place one per year in December, and are a year-long commitment. Our extension students consistently thrive due to their supportive environment, and highly skills coaches, who are always responsive to their students' needs.
Workshops & Camps
The fun doesn't stop when our regular classes do! That's why we offer a series of workshops each school holidays that are open to anyone. Here we take the best bits of our training and remove the time constraints of after-school classes, meaning that students can delve into the best bits. From filmmaking intensives to play building challenges, our workshops are not to be missed. Our holiday camps, run twice per year, are the pinnacle of our training, and are something every student should experience!
Acting Is Just The Tip Of The Iceberg
It is no secret that the Australian Acting Academy is Brisbane’s Best Acting school for kids and teens. It isn’t so much what we do that makes this so, it is how we do it.
Your child will be treated with kindness and respect, and welcomed into our community from the word go. Kids need to be guided how to be part of a team/ensemble, and that is what they will get here. This sense of belonging will increase their focus and general contentment in life. Every child is treated as an equal and all ideas are heard.
Over 90% of our outcomes are student created. The bliss of being a creative child and having somewhere to use this creativity builds a healthy sense of self belief.
Our classes are designed to challenge even the most experienced students, but at the same time perfect for beginners. Your child will work at their level and will be encouraged to grow and take creative risks.
Once your child has trained with us in regular classes, if they show a strong aptitude for the creative arts, plus a keenness to learn, and are 11 years or older, they have the chance to be nominated to audition for our extension classes.
These classes are next level, and keep extending students right up until they are ready to be part of the industry or are auditioning to enter into further studies.
We are seeing a decline in creativity being valued in our school system, so we exist to make sure all creative kids feel that their gifts have a valuable role to play in our society. Acting is just the tip of a very big iceberg for your child's development.
